Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets (about 1 large head of broccoli)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil (for high-heat cooking)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional, for smoky flavor)
  • to taste salt and black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for topping)
  • 1 lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Place the seasoned broccoli in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure crispiness.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the broccoli is crispy and slightly charred.
  • Remove the broccoli from the air fryer and transfer it to a serving dish. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the broccoli just before serving. Enjoy as a side dish or snack!

Notes

For extra crunch, toss the broccoli with panko breadcrumbs before air frying. To make this in the oven, roast at 425°F (220°C) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
