Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz noodles (ramen, lo mein, or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks until fully browned.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the beef, stirring well to combine.
  • Simmer the sauce and beef mixture for 2–3 minutes to allow it to thicken slightly.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat them evenly with the sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
