1teaspoonlemon zest
1teaspoondried oregano
1teaspoondried thyme
1/2teaspoonpaprika
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
1/4teaspoonred pepper flakes (optional)
2tablespoonsfresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, dried oregano, dried thyme, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Place chicken breasts or thighs into a large zip-top bag or bowl. Pour the yogurt marinade over the chicken and coat evenly.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2-4 hours for best flavor.
Remove chicken from marinade, shaking off excess, and arrange in the baking dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Optional: Broil for 2-3 minutes at the end for a golden-brown crust.
