Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 1/2 cups)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-cup Bundt pan.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Mix in sour cream and mashed bananas until just combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Pour batter into prepared Bundt pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with your favorite glaze before serving.
