1/2teaspoonred pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
1tablespooncornstarch (for thickening)
Instructions
Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, but reduce the cooking time by 1 minute to ensure they are firm. Drain and set aside.
Blanch the broccoli by steaming or boiling it for 2-3 minutes until it is tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, grated ginger, garlic, beef broth, red pepper flakes, and cornstarch.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add the remaining vegetable oil and stir-fry the broccoli for 3-4 minutes. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the noodles to the pan with the sauce, tossing well to coat. Return the beef to the pan and stir everything until heated through.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve warm and enjoy!
