A creamy and vibrant Italian-inspired appetizer featuring burrata cheese, juicy tomatoes, fresh basil, and crispy toasted bread. Perfect for entertaining or a light snack!
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
Toast the bread in the oven for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy. Once done, rub each slice with a peeled garlic clove.
In a mixing bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, a drizzle of olive oil, salt, pepper, and half of the chopped basil. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to marinate.
Tear the burrata into pieces and set aside.
Place a generous portion of burrata on each toasted bread slice, then spoon the marinated tomato mixture over the cheese.
Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top, garnish with the remaining fresh basil, and serve immediately while the bread is still warm and crisp.
