Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20) ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese or your preferred cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil butter or olive oil
  • 8 large leaves iceberg or romaine lettuce
  • 1 sliced tomato
  • ½ cup sliced pickles
  • ¼ cup sliced red onion

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the lettuce leaves, keeping them whole and sturdy for wrapping.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat, add butter or olive oil, and cook the ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until browned.
  • Reduce heat to low, place cheese slices over the beef, and cover for 1-2 minutes until melted.
  • Lay out a large lettuce leaf, add a spoonful of cheesy beef, and top with tomato slices, pickles, and red onion.
  • Drizzle with mustard, ketchup, or mayo if desired, fold the lettuce over the filling, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Make it spicy by adding jalapeños or hot sauce. Customize with bacon or avocado for extra flavor.
