Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • optional fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook for 3 minutes until soft.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well to coat the pasta in the sauce.
  • Stir in cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted and creamy.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
