Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
  • to taste salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Arrange the sliced tomatoes and mozzarella on a large platter, alternating and overlapping them.
  • Tuck fresh basil leaves between the tomato and mozzarella slices.
  • Drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze if using.
  • Season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
