Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 cup ketchup (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon mustard (for glaze)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix until just combined—do not overmix.
  • Transfer the mixture to the loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  • In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 55–65 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
