Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 breakfast sausage patties, cooked and crumbled
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese or your favorite cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional toppings diced jalapeños, chopped green onions, or hot sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium heat and scramble the eggs until just set. Remove from heat.
  • Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms intact. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
  • Layer the scrambled eggs evenly over the buns, followed by the crumbled sausage.
  • Place cheese slices over the sausage layer, covering evenly.
  • Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese layer.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and paprika. Brush generously over the tops of the buns.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes until the tops are golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Let the sliders cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm with your favorite toppings.
