Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg (optional)
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and nutmeg (if using), then cook until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency if needed.
  • Season with additional salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
