1/2cupchicken brothor vegetable broth for vegetarian option
1/4tspred pepper flakesoptional

Instructions
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant and golden brown. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream to the skillet. Stir to combine and let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese and chicken broth. Continue stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow the pasta to absorb some of the sauce.
