Creamy Marry Me Shrimp Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook shrimp for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic, red pepper flakes, and sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for 1 minute.
Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the pan.
Stir in heavy cream, parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add lemon juice and stir well.
Return shrimp and cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
Simmer for 2 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve immediately with extra parmesan if desired.
