1(22 oz) bagfrozen shredded hash browns, thawed and well-drained
1 1/2cupsshredded cheddar cheese
1/4cupfinely diced onion
2tablespoonsmelted butter
2tablespoonsolive oil
Salt, to taste

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and lightly coat it with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, shredded cheese, diced onion, melted butter, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is evenly distributed.
Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer, about ½ inch thick. Use a spatula to press down firmly to compact the mixture slightly.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are deeply golden brown and crispy. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 2–3 minutes at the end, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.
