Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups plain yogurt (chilled)
  • 1/2 cup cold water or milk
  • 3 tablespoons rose syrup (such as Rooh Afza)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder (optional)
  • ice cubes (optional)
  • crushed pistachios or almonds (optional, for garnish)
  • dried or fresh edible rose petals (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine plain yogurt, cold water or milk, rose syrup, sugar, and cardamom powder (if using). Blend until smooth and frothy.
  • If desired, add ice cubes and blend again briefly for an extra-cold lassi. Alternatively, pour the blended mixture over ice cubes in each glass.
  • Pour the lassi into serving glasses.
  • Garnish with crushed pistachios or almonds and sprinkle dried or fresh edible rose petals on top, if desired.
  • Serve immediately while chilled. Enjoy!
