These Easy Pigs in a Blanket are the perfect game day snack, made with mini hot dogs and crescent roll dough, and paired with a creamy dipping sauce. Quick, delicious, and perfect for any occasion!
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.
Unroll the crescent dough and spread each triangle lightly with mustard. Cut each triangle into three smaller strips.
Place one cocktail frank at the large end of each dough triangle and roll up tightly.
Place the rolled-up pigs in a blanket seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, beat the egg with a splash of water to make an egg wash. Brush the top of each wrapped hot dog with the egg wash and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds, if desired.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
While the pigs in a blanket bake, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and whole grain mustard to make the dipping sauce.
Serve the pigs in a blanket warm with the dipping sauce on the side.
