Ingredients
  

  • 1 ball pizza dough (12–14 oz)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups romaine lettuce, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped pepperoncini
  • 1/4 cup sliced Kalamata olives
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella pearls or diced provolone
  • 1/4 cup chopped turkey or vegetarian alternative (optional)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (for dressing)
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven to heat.
  • Roll out the dough into a 10–12 inch circle on a floured surface. Brush with olive oil and top with minced garlic.
  • Transfer to the hot stone or sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Remove crust, sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan, and return to oven for 5–6 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Whisk together olive oil, vinegar, mustard, oregano, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  • Combine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, pepperoncini, olives, cheese, and turkey (if using) in a bowl. Toss with the dressing.
  • Let baked pizza cool for 5 minutes, then top with the salad.
  • Slice and serve immediately to enjoy the warm crust and cool topping combo.

Notes

  • Drizzle balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
  • Omit meat or add chickpeas for a vegetarian version.
  • Use flatbread or naan for a quick shortcut crust.
  • Best enjoyed fresh for crispiness.
