This quick and easy Garlic Chicken recipe features tender, juicy chicken breasts in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or a cozy dinner. Pairs wonderfully with mashed potatoes or rice.
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried thyme.
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet, stirring to deglaze the pan.
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon some of the garlic butter sauce over the chicken. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
Once the chicken is cooked, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve immediately with your choice of sides such as mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables.
