Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried thyme.
  • Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet, stirring to deglaze the pan.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon some of the garlic butter sauce over the chicken. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately with your choice of sides such as mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables.
