Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 300 g rigatoni pasta
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rigatoni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the heavy cream, onion powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes until the cream begins to thicken.
  • Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce becomes creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked rigatoni and beef back into the skillet. Stir to combine and coat the pasta evenly with the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.
  • Serve the dish immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
