Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • In a separate shallow dish, beat the eggs.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the egg, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the crumbs stick well.
  • Place the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the coating is golden brown.
  • While the chicken is baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley (if using). Set aside.
  • Once the chicken is done baking, drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the chicken breasts and garnish with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired.
  • Serve hot with your favorite sides and enjoy!
