Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 4 ounces Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • optional lettuce, tomato, red onion, crispy bacon, or your favorite toppings
  • optional mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, or burger sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • In a large bowl, gently mix the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and flatten each portion into thin patties.
  • Place about 1 tablespoon of crumbled Gorgonzola cheese in the center of 4 patties. Top each with another patty and press the edges to seal well.
  • Grill or cook the burgers for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness and the cheese is melted inside.
  • Toast the buns, if desired. Serve the burgers with your favorite toppings and condiments.
