Instructions
Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the fish fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and easily flakes with a fork. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for another minute to allow the flavors to meld together.
Return the fish fillets to the skillet and spoon the lemon butter sauce over them. Let the fillets warm up for another 1-2 minutes.
