Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls (such as Hawaiian rolls)
  • 12 slices deli ham
  • 12 slices deli turkey
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese (or Gruyère cheese)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • optional powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • optional Dijon mustard or raspberry jam (for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms intact. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  • Layer slices of ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese over the bottom halves of the rolls. Replace the top halves of the rolls.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and salt until smooth. Pour the mixture evenly over the assembled sliders, ensuring the tops are lightly coated.
  • Brush the melted butter generously over the tops of the rolls. Cover the dish with foil.
  • Bake covered for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the oven and let the sliders cool slightly. Dust the tops with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve warm, accompanied by Dijon mustard or raspberry jam for dipping.

Notes

For a make-ahead option, assemble the sliders (without the egg mixture) and refrigerate overnight. Add the egg mixture before baking. These sliders can also be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
