One Pan Philly Cheesesteak Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced green bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces uncooked penne or rotini pasta
  • 2 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add onions and bell pepper. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  • Add pasta, beef broth, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning to the skillet. Stir well and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
  • Return the cooked beef to the skillet and stir in the provolone and cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  • Serve warm, optionally garnished with parsley.
