Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos
  • 1 cup Valentine’s-themed M&M’s

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the crushed Oreos and Valentine’s M&M’s.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers will look slightly underdone but will set as they cool.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
