Ingredients
  

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • optional fresh lemon juice
  • optional fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and rub it in evenly.
  • Combine garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with your choice of sides and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon juice, if desired.
