Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • optional fresh lemon juice
  • optional fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and rub it in to coat evenly.
  • In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  • Place the seasoned chicken on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) using a meat thermometer.
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve the chicken with your favorite sides and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
