  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Peel and cut the carrots into evenly sized sticks or rounds.
  • Place the carrots on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and optional thyme. Toss again to evenly distribute the seasonings.
