Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.)
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for drizzling)
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil or parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness (about 10×14 inches).
  • Place the puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet. Score a ½-inch border around the edges with a knife and prick the center with a fork.
  • Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg to enhance golden browning.
  • Blind bake the pastry for 8–10 minutes until slightly puffed and just turning golden.
  • Remove from oven and spread the pizza sauce within the scored border.
  • Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and add your desired toppings.
  • Return to the oven and bake for another 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.
