Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz smoked sausage (like andouille, kielbasa, or chorizo), sliced into 1-inch rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 zucchini, cut into 1-inch chunks

Instructions
 

  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
  • Add shrimp to the marinade and let sit for 15–30 minutes.
  • Assemble skewers by alternating shrimp, sausage, and optional veggies (bell peppers, zucchini).
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grill grates lightly.
  • Grill skewers for 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp is opaque and sausage is browned.
  • Serve hot with lemon wedges, your favorite dipping sauce, or side dish.
