Slow Cooker Crack Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • optional garlic powder
  • optional buns, rice, or pasta for serving

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and top with cream cheese and ranch seasoning mix.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  • Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
  • Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir it into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Add shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon to the slow cooker and stir until well combined. Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes on low until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm on buns, over rice, or with pasta. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
