Ingredients

  • 4–5 medium Granny Smith apples, chopped
  • 6 Snickers candy bars, chopped
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (optional, plus more for drizzling)

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let the mixture sit for 2–3 minutes to thicken slightly.
  • Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined. Be gentle to maintain a light and airy texture.
  • Wash, core, and chop the apples into bite-sized pieces. For best results, use a sharp knife to ensure clean cuts.
  • Chop the Snickers candy bars into small chunks. Aim for uniform sizes so every bite includes a little bit of everything.
  • Gently fold the chopped apples and Snickers pieces into the pudding mixture. Stir carefully to avoid crushing the delicate apple pieces or candy chunks.
  • If desired, drizzle in the caramel sauce and give it a light stir (don’t overmix). Reserve additional caramel sauce for serving.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the salad to an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Just before serving, drizzle with extra caramel sauce if desired. Serve chilled and enjoy!
