Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
