Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion until soft and golden, about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine baked beans, sautéed onion, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and season with salt and pepper.
Stir everything together until fully mixed, then pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Bake uncovered for 45–60 minutes, or until the beans are bubbly and the sauce is thickened.
Let the dish rest for 10 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
